Privacy Policy

The short version: this website has no analytics, sets no cookies of its own, and has no forms. A few outside services, such as Google Fonts, an embedded Google Map and our web host, receive basic technical data when pages load. We don't sell personal information. Effective September 17, 2026.

Scope

Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Generations Wellness, 1801 H Street, Suite C-1, Modesto, CA 95354, operates our website at generationswellness.net. This policy explains what information the website collects, which outside services are involved, how phone and email contact works, and the choices and rights you have, including under California law.

This website is not a patient portal

This policy covers the website only. Information you share as a patient during your care is medical information. It is handled separately, under the laws that protect medical information, such as the federal HIPAA Privacy Rule and California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act.

Please don't email medical details

Regular email is not a secure way to share health information. Please do not send diagnoses, test results, photos, medication lists or other medical details by email. Call us at (369) 222-0979 instead, and we'll talk it through.

Collection

What the Website Collects, and What It Doesn't

As of the date of this policy, the website itself is simple:

  • No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tool to track which pages you visit.
  • No cookies set by our site. Our own pages do not place cookies on your device.
  • No forms. There are no contact forms, accounts, logins, online health questionnaires or online payments.
  • No advertising trackers. We do not use advertising pixels or ad networks.

That means the website does not ask you for your name, contact details or health information. The only information we receive from you is what you choose to share when you call or email us.

Third Parties

Outside Services That Receive Technical Data

Like almost every website, ours relies on a few outside services. When your browser loads a page, it connects to them directly, which means they receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page being requested. Each follows its own privacy policy.

Third-party services used by this website and what they may receive.
ServiceWhy we use itWhat it may receive
Vercel (web hosting)Delivers the website to your browserServer logs, such as IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request
Google FontsLoads the typefaces used on our pages from Google's serversIP address and browser information when fonts are requested
Google Maps (embedded on our contact page only)Shows our location on a map on the contact pageIP address and browser information; Google may also set its own cookies or collect usage data under Google's policies

We do not control the data these companies collect. To learn more, see Google's explanation of how it uses information from sites that use its services, and Vercel's privacy policy, both linked below. If you prefer not to load the embedded map, you can find our address and phone number in plain text on every page.

Contact

When You Call or Email Us

Contacting us is always voluntary. If you call or email, we receive what you share, such as your name, phone number, email address and your question. We use it to respond to you, answer questions and schedule a physician assessment if you ask for one.

We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Our phone and email providers handle messages as part of delivering them.

Again, please keep medical details out of email. Once you become a patient, your information is handled as medical information. See what happens once you become a patient.

Your Rights

Your California Privacy Rights

California law gives residents rights over their personal information. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to businesses that meet certain size or data thresholds. In plain terms, where it applies, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information a business has collected about you and how it is used
  • Delete personal information a business collected from you, with some legal exceptions
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither)
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Be treated equally, without discrimination for using these rights

Businesses covered by the CCPA generally must respond to verified requests within 45 days. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

How to contact us about your information

If you have a question or request about personal information, email marketing@generationswellness.net or call (369) 222-0979. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Because the website itself does not collect personal information, most requests will relate to calls or emails you have sent us.

"Shine the Light"

California's "Shine the Light" law lets residents ask whether a business shares personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not.

Do Not Track

The California Online Privacy Protection Act asks websites to explain how they respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Our website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, so there is no tracking for such a signal to turn off. Third-party services described above, such as Google Maps, may handle these signals under their own policies.

Other Details

Children, Security, Links and Changes

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Questions about care for a child should come from a parent or guardian by phone.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure, which is one more reason to share medical details by phone rather than email.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to sources such as the FDA, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and CMS. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if we add analytics or a contact form, we will update this policy and its effective date. Please check this page for the current version. See also our medical disclaimer and editorial policy.
